John R. Chang: Blog
On February 13th, 2005 I decided to check out one of my favorite blogs on the internet which belongs to Apple employee John R. Chang. Unfortunately, it looked like the box he had his site on was hacked. Today, I've checked it out again and I'm guessing he'll be back online again soon. Hopefully, he had backups for his blog entries.

maps.google.com
Google never ceases to amaze me. Their new mapping site makes the other sites look weak, IMO. Features such as drop shadows, draggable (I know, not a real word, so maybe "drag enabled"?) map, keyboard shortcuts to control the movement of the map and I think it's much cleaner looking than other map sites. It's still in Beta, but in usual Google fashioon, it looks really great. So hopefully, the promise for Safari support will be here soon.

Where's George?
A week ago a dollar bill I received as change had a red stamp with the text WWW.WHERESGEORGE.COM. I didn't think anything of it, but Mr. Navarro said to check it out because maybe I won something. So I'm not one to turn down the possibility of winning so I go check it out. As it turns out, the site tracks dollar bills which they've stamped so you can enter the serial number of the dollar you have, you can see where he's been and you can add where you got him from as well. Pretty cool to see what possible places George has been in. Now if they made it so specific as to say where exactly a dollar has been, I'm sure we'd all wash our hands more often after handling money.

What's your Spiritual Type?
I'm surprised with my score after taking this quiz, I thought I would be in the 50's. Not sure if I agree with their choice of words though, it's hardly a "quiz" since there are no wrong or right answers. In any case, how did you score?
