Too Funny...

It's been a while since I've blogged, but there is nothing like a good laugh that I just have to share to get me back into blogging again.

Family guy AIDS Song

This article complains about the insensitivity of Fox and a particular Family Guy episode. Basically, Peter Griffin, sings a song about someone getting AIDS. When I saw it, I was amazed Fox actually aired it and I knew a lot of people would be offended. At the same time, I thought it was hilarious because of how wrong it is for him to sing a song about it. In any case, after reading the article I'm glad to see Fox not back down from their critics. A lot of humor out there is always going to offend someone and I would think most Family Guy viewers know that Peter is an idiot and we're laughing at him and not laughing about getting AIDS.

How would you survive in this situation? Think before looking at the answer. Thanks, Sunee!

Bill Gates Email
It's nice to see that Mr. Gates is not left out when it comes to receiving SPAM. Cracks me up how Ballmer says that "Literally there's a whole department almost that takes care of it,". Hmm, amazing how a company can do so well when even a whole department devoted to keeping SPAM out of the big bosses inbox. Of course, Ballmer doesn't say how many SPAM messages are caught by their so called "special technology", but I'd imagine it's not a very good ratio since he doesn't mention it. Otherwise, they'd actually sell the technology and make even more money.

Too close?

Now is it just me or is this just a little bit too close to the steering wheel to drive? The freaking airbag alone would knock her out if she ever got into an accident.

The Office

Synopsis: The workplace depicted in this six-part BBC series is as dysfunctional as it gets. David Brent (Ricky Gervais), office manager of nondescript Wernham-Hogg Slough, is at once zany, clueless and mortifying. David likes to drink, divulge deeply personal information at odd moments, read his poetry and make a fool of himself in front of his team, which is made up of Gareth the sycophant, Tim the sensitive guy, flirtatious Dawn and many others.
This is one of the funniest shows I have seen in a long time, if not the funniest. I rented this DVD because a friend of mine recommended it and I was not disappointed. I was laughing so much in the first episode, I thought it couldn't get any funnier. Then as I watched the rest, it just got better and better. The only thing to complain about is the english accent which is difficult to understand at times. Luckily, the subtitles option helped a lot. If you enjoy dry humor, watch this DVD! Pure comedy. 10 out of 10. Thanks for letting me know about this one, Benji!

Family Guy: Nice Tip
A hilarious mp3 clip in the Family Guy where a perverted old man wants Chris to fish out a nice "tip" in his pocket for delivering the paper with his nice muscle-ie throwing arm.

Kodak Moments
Post some comments regarding this picture of Mr. Steve Miller in the Philippines. Some of mine would be...
"This white man can jump, fellas. Don't believe any of that Hollywood crap!"
"Okay, I got next! You punks got a problem with that?"
"Can someone tell me where the closest McDonald's is?"
"I guess I'm not in Kansas anymore."

Better choice of words?
Saw this book (a cats handbook) at a B. Dalton bookstore in AZ. Funny how he/she uses the better choice of "by myself" in the text, but not in the title of the entry.

Extreme Penguin

Check out this demented, but fun game. Penguin lovers beware! Thanks for the link, Tim! Trina so far has the best record of 1122.2 (yards?). I could only get 723.2 for my personal best. Damn Canadians!

Dear Marge

From CNN's Offbeat News section a letter which resembles an episode of The Simpsons is pulled from a Dear Abby column. That episode was one of the better "older" episodes in my opinion. Thanks for the link, Benoga.

The Family Guy is coming back!

E! Online News reported today that The Family Guy is coming back in 2005. This show in my opinion, is probably second only to The Simpsons. The humor and wit in the show is practically non-stop. Hmm, guess I'll have to look into getting cable again if they decide to go with the Cartoon Network.

"Lovapalooza" Manila style!

"More than 5,000 Filipino couples kissed simultaneously for 10 seconds to welcome Valentine's Day and set a new world record". But in true filipino planning style, "Organizers said they had not been told if the achievement had been certified by the Guinness Book of World Records." Anak ng pucha, what a waste of time if it wasn't a Guinness record and damn that guy's ugly! He can't be filipino!!!
Thanks for the link, King Dave!
