Apple | MacBook Pro
I've highlighted the best part of ordering a MacBook Pro online from the Apple Store. It's up to 4x faster (HUGE deal), has a built-in iSight (not a big deal in my book), slightly thinner than a 17" PowerBook, has no PCMCIA slot(somewhat of a negative) but did I mention it's fast? Okay, time to start saving up to upgrade to one. Maybe...

New Apple Stuff Day!
Apple decided to introduce the iPod nano today. My guess is since the iTunes phone doesn't look too impressive, they needed to release something else along with it. The new iTunes looks cool though.

Mighty Mouse
Here it comes to save the day! Leave it to Apple to come up with, what looks like, an ultra cool multiple button mouse with no buttons. I want one!!! The only question is, should I wait for a Bluetooth model to come out first?

AirPort PCI Card
Do you have an older Power Mac desktop with PCI slots and don't have a built-in AirPort card slot? I've tried Buffalo's AirStation 54 Mbps* Wireless Desktop PCI Adapter at work on a G4/400 desktop running Mac OS X Server version 10.3.8 and it works fine. It even shows up automatically as "AirPort" in the Network system preferences. Bufallo's website doesn't say it supports OS X, but in my experience it works great.

Apple Newton Coming Back?
I just read at MacRumors.com that a survey is floating around regarding the Apple Newton. "We need to determine why the Apple Newton was not a commercial success and whether there is an interest in re-launching a new version of the Newton, the survey says. Your comments will help understand why the Newton failed and if there is interest in re-launching a new, improved Newton."
Hopefully Apple will bring it back, maybe as a high end iPod with Newton capabilities. How cool would that be? 40GB drive, transflective display with 65,000+ Colors, an updated Newton OS, Airport Extreme and Bluetooth at a $499. price point? Who am I kidding, this is Apple we're talking about. A $699. price point. Now with the Apple Stores as a showcase and PDA's almost as common as cell phones, it'll sell for sure. Drool...
