Van de Velde = Choke Artist in French

C'mon, Jean! Don't you have better things to worry about? Maybe if you'd work on shedding the reputation of being one of the biggest chokers of all time in golf, you wouldn't worry so much about women qualifying or receiving sponsors exemptions for Men's tournaments. You could always work on winning a major in the mens tour, but if you feel that you must embarass yourself in the Women's British Open, go for it! Loser.

Sushi Itto
This was taken at the downtown San Diego location across from Horton Plaza. I've eaten at the Hillcrest location about 3 years ago and I did not like it at all. I wonder if I should give it another chance?

It'll be hard watching any games without you playing. Please stay at Arsenal!

Food | Yan Yan
I first started eating these snacks since I was a teenager and ever since then I don't really remember it having any sesame seeds on them (as this site also notices). Could I take them to court and sue? It'd be nice to win a settlement of a years supply of Yan Yan! For those of you who have never tried this, it's similar to Twix but better, I think, because it doesn't have caramel. Which in US candy bars is way over used!

Movie Review | Flight of the Phoenix

Synopsis: When a C-119 cargo plane full of oil workers crashes in Mongolia's Gobi Desert during a sandstorm, the survivors attempt to build a new plane from the parts they find in the wreckage. Led by downed pilot Frank Towns (Dennis Quaid), the rag-tag group makes a desperate effort to stay alive and return to civilization. Giovanni Ribisi, Miranda Otto and Hugh Laurie co-star in this remake of the 1960s film that starred James Stewart as Towns.
Going in, I thought this movie was going to be horrible. After seeing it, it wasn't really as bad as the Metacritic Metascores made it out to be. I haven't seen the original either, so maybe most of the reviews were based on comparisons with the original version. In any case, it's a decent action/adventure flick, I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World

Went to see this film at the San Diego Asian Film Festival and I'll admit it, it's one of those movies that blurs my vision for some strange reason. After you see it, read one of the better reviews that I've Googled (don't read the review now as it practically tells the entire story). This film has great performances, great cinematography and has a story that tugs at the heart. Overall, I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10. Now I just have to find a Region 1 DVD of it.

Royal Mills Iced Coffee
I've decided to try different kinds of canned coffee (to add a little variety into my office drinking habits) and I thought I'd start with Royal Mills Iced Coffee. Given to me by a Hawaiian co-worker (thanks, Lauren!) after she saw me drinking UCC brand coffee. I'd have to say that this brand is just okay. It's a little too sweet for my taste and watery at the same time, if that makes sense. It needs more of a "coffee roast" flavor. Overall, I'd give this canned coffee drink a 7 out of 10.

Happy Birthday Kylie and Shelby Jones!
Kylie doesn't look too happy in the pic, but she just needed someone to feed her. I can't believe it's already been a year!
